The Clothes for Kids Program provides essential clothing and personal care items to students identified by school personnel as having unmet needs. Through this program, students receive jackets, sweatshirts, shoes, socks, selected school uniforms, and emergency clothing. Middle school students may also receive hygiene products, which are kept in school offices and distributed as needed.
Dedicated volunteer shoppers work closely with school staff to identify student needs, purchase requested items, and deliver them directly to schools, ensuring timely support for students and families.
During the 2025–2026 school year, Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga served 577 students at 18 schools in the Campbell Union, Moreland, and Luther Burbank School Districts. Volunteers provided 519 jackets and sweatshirts, 302 pairs of shoes along with three pairs of socks for each recipient, and 23 school uniforms. These items helped ensure that students came to school clothed, comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.
