As the brunch came to a close, Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Director Rhoda Blankenship presented a Certificate of Appreciation to the chapter for their continued help of their clients over the last year. It is through this partnership that a better future is possible for these new moms and babies. To date this year, we’ve supported over 280 new moms and their babies through this program ….all part of helping transform lives and strengthen our community.
In mid-March, the Santa Clara County Public Health/Nurse Family Partnership held a brunch to honor Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga Family Program members for their dedication to making a difference in the lives of vulnerable, first-time mothers and their babies. About 20 members and NFP nurses shared a beautiful Hawaiian-themed brunch after which three young girls from a local dance company performed traditional Hawaiian dances.
