Join our incredible group of volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference in our community. Assistance League offers unique volunteer opportunities that fit your interest and time. As a member, you will enjoy the benefits and rewards of:

Members must meet the minimum requirements listed below. New members attend three orientation meetings. There are also several social events including: book discussion, holiday luncheons, bridge, poker, summer events, etc.

Assisteens®
An Auxiliary of Assistance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga

Providing local teens with the opportunities for leadership through community service is the purpose of Assisteens Auxiliary.  The goals of the group include fostering the spirit of volunteerism, developing leadership skills through a teen-led organization, and having fun.

Assisteens is a co-ed teen group for grades 7 – 12 and as a member you will help determine the direction of the group. You will be able to demonstrate to colleges your commitment to community service and leadership.

What to expect:

  • Dues are $25 annually
  • Teen Governing Board with help and oversight by Assisteens Coordinators
  • No hour requirements, but get involved with at least one program and attend monthly meetings
  • We have ways for you to get a quick start in our existing programs and begin earning hours for school and class projects
  • Opportunity to decide what projects are of interest, plan and carry them out
  • Participate in Assistance League fundraising activities
